Spenger’s 9th Annual Crabby Chef Seafood Festival

Join Cal Recreational Sports at Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto’s 9th Annual Crabby Chef Seafood Festival, this year benefiting the Cal Recreational Sports Development Fund!

Date and Time: Sunday, October 11th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Where: Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto, established in 1890, is located at 1919 Fourth Street in Berkeley, California, just off of I-80.

Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto’s Program:

- The “Iron Chef” style culinary competition between local restaurants culminates with a “crabby Chef” champion being chosen at the end of the event.

- From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., outdoor food booths will be selling cooked crab, crab cakes, clam chowder and other seafood delights. In addition, Spenger’s renowned fish market will be open on site with fresh seafood to go.

- A portion of the proceeds are being donated to the Cal Recreational Sports Development Fund.

- Musical entertainment featured throughout the day provided by Freight & Salvage.

- The culinary competition is FREE, open for public viewing.
