PLAYgreen Festival Registration Now Available!

Registration for the 2010 PLAYgreen Festival is now open. The Early Bird Registration discount is available through December 15th!

In it’s second year, the PLAYgreen Festival is the Bay Area’s premier eco-experiential event for 18-24 year olds and campus supporters, who want to play, live and work a greener lifestyle. Over 10,000 Cal students, campus and community supporters are projected to touch, taste, feel, experience and learn about the latest products, fashions, technology, services, travel, trends and educational and career opportunities from the very best local and national eco-friendly and sustainable organizations.

Participating at the PLAYgreen Festival will provide your organization a new opportunity to share your commitment to sustainability and engage the Cal Audience through a face-to-face marketing experience. The Cal student community is a highly-motivated, multi-cultural and loyal group, recognized on a local and national level for its efforts to create a sustainable and eco-friendly campus and community. This year’s event will be held Friday, February 26, 2010 in Pauley Ballroom at the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Union. The Jones Soda recipe for creating buzz about their company as well as dominating the blog-a-sphere begins with the launch of their Tofurky & Gravy specialty soda.

Proceeds from the online sale, where two bottles of Turkey & Gravy soda sold for about $11, were donated to Toys for Tots, a children’s charity.

Local retailers will start selling the soda today and we’ll be talking about the oddly tasting but, meatless drink for years to come.

Marketing Insight: Campaigns that put smiles on the faces of your indented audience will create positive buzz about your brand and extend the promotional cycle.
